Week 20

This week for my SLR class we went to American Village to practice what we've learned. We got to go to the beach (Mom & Dad, this is the hotel/beach you will be staying at this summer!). It was HOT (and windy, so it evened out a little) and I was able to get some great shots!

Week 19

Saturday morning we went to get breakfast with some friends. We went to Coffee Casa (one of my favorites!) and I got a delicious hot chocolate (perfect for a rainy day). We also took a minute to check out the seawall. It's always covered with grafitti art, and I think it's cool!

Week 18

Happy Birthday, Kella!

Kella turned 3 this year! We celebrated (well Joe was gone, but Brody and I) by making her wear a party hat (for about 5 seconds), getting new toys, and a nice big bone for an after dinner treat!

Week 17

Here's a picture of some art that Joe brought back from Hawaii. I just thought the bag was so neat, and I love how they used chopsticks to close the bag! If you wanna see the art... you'll just have to wait. We need to order some custom frames. :)

And yes, I've taken and posted a picture of this type of flower before. BUT, I am taking an SLR class and was practicing on how to focus on a specific target!

Week 16

Summer is quickly approaching!! With the change in weather, there have been much more 4-legged flying "friends" around! We also went to the beach (to actually lay out) for the first time this year! YAY for amazing weather!

Week 15

Joe decided to pick up dinner (beloved Coco's) and he surprised me and also brought home flowers. Just love him!

We went to the Barrel Restaurant with a group of friends. It was Landon's 4th Birthday!!! Happy Birthday, little man! He was really excited to open his gifts!

Joe and I went to the Torii Beach Festival. It was low tide and we were able to get some neat pictures!

Week 14

This week went by way too fast! Here are a few photos of some furry friends :)
